Diabetes Doldrums

I don't like being diabetic. I don't like having to count everything that I eat. I don't like not getting to eat what I want.

Ok....I'm through whining. I'll put on my big girl panties and deal with it.

My Thursday 13....

13 Places I Wish I Were Today
1. Home
2. On Vacation
3. In Colorado
4. On a Cruise ship to Alaska
5. With my sisters on a girls day
6. At the movies - with a big ol' box of popcorn
7. At Beaver's Bend - sitting by the river in a comfy chair and a book
8. In Plano at Larry's
9. Anywhere cool
10. Anywhere I didn't have to work
11. Anywhere that was cool
12. Anywhere cool....did I already say that?
13. Guess I better be content with being at work in Paris, Texas

It's been 2 months?

I can't believe that I haven't blogged since May...holy cow - where did all the time go?
I've been 2 months without Larry. I miss him, but talk to him lots. He loves his job and is enjoying being in the big city.
The week that I turned 51 my little Pooh Bear that I'd had for 10 years died. I miss him lots, but this past weekend I got another little baby to love. Her name is Baby Girl and she is a Boston Terrier/Pugg mix. (Which means she's a Bugg.) She is very hyper, very loving, very inquisitive.
It's STILL raining.............................
I'm going to borrow an idea that a blogger friend has....each Thursday she does "Thursday 13".

13 Things that I've done this week
1. Played with Baby Girl
2. Attended our VBS on Sunday night and had a BALL!
3. Played bunco tonight with 11 other ladies from church. Good food and lots of noise.
4. Worked on prayer request updates
5. Worked
6. Went to church Wednesday night.
7. Watched Cas Haley (from Paris) on America's Got Talent.
8. Taught Baby Girl how to use the puppy pad.
9. Found out that I was diabetic. (Ewwwwwwww)
10. Dog-sat with my friend Becky's Great Dane...Gracie.
11. Wondered what on earth to do with my hair that is WAY too long.
12. Gotten wet - EVERY single day.
13. Not had a Coke or Dr. Pepper all week!

Kinda Sad

It's been a strange week...I helped Larry moved on Saturday. It was a bittersweet day. I'm so happy for him. But, on the other hand I am so sad that my baby has moved. But it's such a cute apartment and he has a GREAT job at Integra Hospital/Plano.
Also, on Saturday...my friends Tawana Stewart, Vickie Brown and their Mom Martha Fox were involved in a 3 car accident. Tawana is still in Parkland with massive injuries, Martha is in PRMC with lots of injuries and guilt and Vickie died instantly. Too Sad!
My little grand-friend Payden is in Children's Medical with electrodes attached to his head...they are trying to figure out why he is continuing to have seizures. He's such a sweet baby, and has such a sweet little personality.
Life goes on and we go with it.

Another Rainy Day

It's hump day - and it's raining again. I love the rain - but just wish I was at home with a good book.
Please say a prayer for my friend Pam Kropp. She works at the downtown office and is the most precious person. She had a heart attack on Sunday and has not responded since then. The Dr. says she had significant brain damage, but with the proper care, the PROPER Dr. and the proper meds - she can come thru. There will be rehab - but it will be a blessing for her to be back to herself. She has a sweet little grandson that needs her. She was CareFlighted to Medical City/Dallas yesterday.
Have a great day!

The Beginning

Hi, I'm Molly Woodall. I'm new to blogging and I understand that you just write what's going on. Here it is in a nutshell:
I'm an old fat chick (50), live in Paris, Texas and I'm a bank teller.
I have one son, Larry, who is 26 and lives in Plano. (He's single.)
I've been married to Webber for 13 years and we have Pooh Bear, our Yorkie...and we've inherited our "grand-dog" Oreo from Larry.
I have 2 sisters, Martha and Mary, they both live in Cooper. My brother, Carl Jr., lives in Powderly. My Mommy is in the nursing home in Cooper with Alzheimer's...she is 86 now.
My life is pretty boring...just go to work and go home.
I would ask if you have time, please check on my little friend, Kanyon Phillips at: www.thephillipsphamily.blogspot.com
